It is the start of the 5th pass on Pern. As the dragonriders prepare for the dawning of the Red Star, they could never have dreamed of the destruction and devastation that awaits them.
Not only did the Red Star bring with it the ever present Thread, but this time a more menacing threat than ever before. When it passed through Rukbat's Oort Cloud strange rocks were swept along in the Red Star's gravitational pull and as the Star approached Pern, the rocks began to crash down onto the once beautiful, lush, lands of Riders and Holders.
Within days parts of the planet's atmosphere has changed, and strange, red, molten liquid begins to erupt, destroying both Hold and Weyr alike. In order to save themselves and others, many of the riders leave their Weyrs behind in search of a safe haven. Will they survive? What will become of Pern?
Come join us as we settle the newest Weyr on all of Pern -- Dragon Weyr!!
Positions as Dragonriders, Holders, and Crafters are all open and needed! What mark will you leave as you help rebuild both Hold and Weyr on Pern!
New Clutches and Hatchings will occur on a regular basis! Lots of great opportunities to get involved in the story and help Pern survive it's deadliest foe yet!
