It's been 30 years since the Supercomputer was shut down. There's a whole new generation of students and teachers at Kadic Academy. And the old protagonists have grown. Jeremy is the Superintendent of the school district that Kadic is in. Aelita is with the Subdigitals, writing music with them ever since she wrote their hit song "A World Without Danger". Oh, her and Jeremy got married. Ulrich runs a Pencak Silat dojo with his wife Yumi, and Odd is a bachelor who happens to be a famous DJ. William is now an internationally acclaimed author, something no one expected.
But now, Xana's back. He's spread across supercomputers all over the globe, piecing himself back together after what the Lyoko Warriors did to him 30 years ago. And this time, he plans to be prepared. He's begun to recruit students from Kadic that he can use as pawns to fight whoever gets in his way this time.
And now, there's a new enemy. They're called Fragments that can help or hinder either side, like their alliance shifts. And no fragment is the same as another. But they're dangerous.
With a new school year starting at Kadic, there's another chance for students to discover the supercomputer and Lyoko. Who will stop Xana this time?
